They gave me the exact right amount of curtido to go on them, and even suggested a beverage when the one I ordered was out. The service was quick and cheerful, and the chips stayed crisp the entire car trip.

First time visit. Finally found some good authentic food cooked with love! We are disappointed with all the Mexican restaurants around our home. And there are a few popular Mexican restaurants near our home. The food is what was always the disappointing factor.

The restaurant is under new ownership, looks really nice inside! OK, pazole on there menu everyday is awesome! We had several orders of papusa's, tacos pastor and found out their burrito is a huge...great for us. Excellent, real deal Mom and Pop Mexican food, not some Tex-Mex stuff like down the street. So much food we had to ask for boxes, large servings! Well worth the stop, eat with confidence, it's a little gem!

Don't let the exterior fool you there is great food and service inside, reminded me of where the locals eat when on a vacation trip.

My wife and I actually just returned from having lunch at Taqueria Angelitos. I was thrilled when I walked in to see that they had fresh chile rellenos today. It's one of my favorite dishes, and in a way I feel that it is a true test to the authenticity of a Mexican restaurant. Shortly after we ordered I heard the blender being fired up to whip up some fresh egg batter for the chilles rellenos. That sound puts a smile on my face. Of course, I was also happy that I ordered an extra, and had them before, so I knew what was I was waiting for. They don't always have these on the menu, only when the chilies are in season and fresh. So, if you happen to walk in a see them on the board I would get them while they are fresh. There is just nothing like a good chile relleno to me.

Taqueria Angelitos is the best and most authentic Mexican I have had on the east coast. Since leaving California I have hunted high and low for someplace like this. Unfortunately for me I live nowhere near here so must memorialize my visit with a review.

At our table we had enchiladas verde (Angelitos) and an assortment of tacos, rice and beans. The beans were amazing and just like you get at the best taquerias in Southern California. The carnitas was so spectacular I almost asked for it to go in a tub. The Mexican chicken was stewed with onions and spices and the al pastor was also phenomenal. The enchiladas were very tasty too.

To top it off, the family that owns and runs the place is as sweet as can be.

They have Mexican music playing in the background. The decoration of this place makes the setting even better. My waitress was kind it was a great experience.
